Our Story
Shaped
Across Places.
Established in 2020, Tino Architects draws on our principal’s experience across Zimbabwe, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Working across different cities, climates and cultures has shaped how we observe, question and design.
That experience gives us a broad perspective, while each project begins with the particular: its setting, the people it serves and what it needs to achieve.
Our foundation in residential architecture brings an attention to daily life, material and detail that continues to inform our work at every scale.
We believe architecture should feel effortless, not because its creation is simple, but because its complexity has been carefully considered, coordinated and resolved.

A World Away
Your vision may begin close to home or a world away, a place to live, a business to grow or an investment for the future.
We bring international experience and local expertise together through thoughtful design and personal involvement, keeping you connected to your project, wherever you are.
Observe.
We continually observe the built and natural worlds, gathering ideas from landscapes, streets, materials and everyday encounters. These references enrich our work, while each project takes its direction from the particular character, climate and context of its site.
Our Approach
Place.
People.
